Over the years I have been so blessed to work with a very mighty organization, The Mighty Oakes Heart Foundation. Their mission is this:
Our vision is families facing congenital heart defects have the freedom to be a family and have hope amidst the chaos.Our aim is not only to relieve financial burden – enabling them to be in the moment with their young warrior – but to listen, share, uplift and strengthen them as they march on.
Early this year I was asked to style some very special heart families.
Together with Photographers, Paul Nordmann and Lindsey Hinderer, Hair and Makeup Artists, Haley Hansen, Savanna Hopkins, and Lauren Besch we were able to take what we do to make some families feel beautiful and to celebrate health and family!
These families have lived through extremely difficult minutes, hours, days, weeks, and years as they stood bedside with their child battling through congenital heart defects.
This project was very close to my heart. I was touched and honored to be apart of an amazing day!
